For example, we usually eat traditional Japanese food. We have rice with every meal, and we eat with chopsticks. We never wear shoes in the house, and often sit or even lie down on the floor to relax. I used to behave like that, but everything has changed for me today here in the USA. By contrast , people here in the USA use forks to take in their meals and most of the time they eat sandwiches ,From the side of clothing , the American are usually presented in a fashionable way . The human relationships are quite different. Here, people show their feelings much more openly than in Japan. They often give other compliment, such as “you look so nice!” or “what a pretty dress!” This embarrasses Japanese people. In USA every one is much more direct. A Japanese person hardly ever says “no” directly.
